Sunday At The Society: Northport's African American History
Northport Historical Society Will Launch "Sunday At The Society," A Series Of Monthly Lectures, Performances And Demonstrations On Sunday, February 12th Beginning At 3:00pm. The Inaugural Presentation Will Feature Author And Historian Thelma Jackson-Abidally As She Presents "Northport's African-American History," A Look At The African-American Families That Once Lived In Northport And Their Struggle To Fit In A Mostly White Suburban Community. This Event Is Open To Everyone At A Cost Of $5 Per Person (Society Members Are Free).

The Tour Begins At 1:30pm On The Front Steps Of The Museum.
