The Third Annual Vanderbilt Autocross will be held at Roosevelt Field on Sunday, August 8, 2010. The restored Alco-6 Black Beast Racer will once again participate and celebrate the centennial of the 1910 Vanderbilt Cup Race. Concours $20; Autocross $55; Combined $65; Spectators Free!

Garden City Street Fair
The Garden City Street Fair is located on Nassau Blvd., approx. 1 mile north of Hempstead Tpke. (Route 24). This main thoroughfare is heavily traveled and provides a great setting for this fall festival Features an array of arts & crafts, gift items, antiques, food and more.
DIRECTIONS: Southern State Parkway to Exit 17N (Hempstead Avenue). Go North on Hempstead Avenue for 1/3 of a mile to Nassau Blvd., make a left onto Nassau Blvd. and proceed approx. 2 miles to the fair.
