This Exhibition, Curated By Hofstra University Museum's Assistant Director Of Exhibitions And Collections, Karen T. Albert, Acknowledges The Significant Contributions Of Our Art Donors, Honoring Those Who Have Made Our Collection What It Is Today. The Collection Consists Of Approximately 5,000 Works Of Art From 6 Continents, Including Paintings, Prints, Drawings, Photographs, And Sculptures From The 18th To 21st Century. Asian And Chinese Stone And Ceramic Works, Japanese Prints And Scrolls, African And Oceanic Ethnographic Pieces And Pre-Columbian Artifacts Are Also Part Of The Collection. This Exhibition Presents Only A Small Portion Of The Diverse Collection. The largest and oldest feast on Long Island is a great way to end summer with a bang. Great rides for kids from 1 to 99 with games for all ages with terrific prizes. Sweetbriar Nature Center's Butterfly and Moth Vivarium, Long Island's first living seasonal butterfly display, was created in 1997, with funds donated by the Smithtown Rotary Club. Our 30' x 50' screened enclosure is home to over 20 species of native North American butterflies and moths complete with lush vegetation and flowers necessary for their survival. Walk through our beautiful butterfly house and surround yourself with over 200 butterflies, learning the various stages of the butterfly's lifecycle from chrysalis to adult butterfly. Children's craft provided. All ages.

On the bay side of Tobay Beach with direct line of sight to where the Twin Towers once stood, candlelight ceremony. The Town' memorial monument is inscribed with the names of Town of Oyster Bay residents lost on September 11, 2001. The memorial also features a steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center, which is positioned in the direct line of sight where the Twin Towers once stood.
