The Peter Sweisgood Breakfast has always provided LICADD with an opportunity to express our appreciation to our partners in addiction treatment and prevention. This year's honorees have each made a significant contributions to our efforts to promote awareness, treatment on demand and new approaches to substance abuse prevention.
Founded in 1956 by R. Brinkley Smithers, LICADD remains one of Long Island's premier nonprofits and is often the first stop for individuals and families struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction.
